Introduction

This page will chronicles Jazzy's adventures in creating his first Large Format camera, based on this design: BlackRiver 4x5.

The camera has been entirely 3D printed in ABS on a Zortrax M200 printer, except for the ground glass (bought from Ebay), the lens board (cut from 3mm plywood and painted black), the Cambo 162x162x300mm bellows (Ebay again), the rail components (scavenged from my old 3D printer) and the hardware (nuts, bolts, bulldog clips etc., again from Ebay).

I have so far completely redesigned the rail system to use the components I had as well as the front standard to make it an easier to print and stronger part. This leaves the rear standard, both frames, the ground glass frame and most of the knobs from the original BlackRiver design.
